Moisture Meter

Heavy-duty 15" long probe is used to monitor relative moisture levels to ensure proper compost decomposition and healthy garden plants. Adjustable meter allows you to calibrate for specific moisture needs. Powered by one AA battery (included). NOTE: The meter reads "wetness" by measuring electrical conductivity in the soil, which is sensitive to salt content. If the salt content of your compost varies between test locations, you may get inconsistent readings. The meter is sensitive only at the tip of the probe.
