A bit shorter, a week later to flower, and a deeper blue than Gruppenblau. Uniform plants tolerate heat, humidity, and poor soils. Well-suited for mass plantings. Strong, thin stems are harvested fresh or dried when bottom 3–4 flowers open. Also known as mealycup sage and mealy-cup sage.
