Sonata
$46.00 Original price was: $46.00.$13.80Current price is: $13.80.
Description
Developed by Dutch breeder Burt Meulenbroek, Sonata is a cross of Elsanta and Polka, two high-performing Dutch varieties. Sonata expresses great plant vigor and shows tolerance to angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae) and good winter hardiness. Sonata is productive and produces large, uniform, conical berries with a glossy bright red appearance. For best results, ample magnesium and nitrogen are required. Its consistent performance and high yields make Sonata well-suited for roadside/fresh market operations and the experienced home gardener. U.S. Plant Patent #18,000. Harvest midseason. Grows best in Zones 4–7. 1 Unit = 1 plant.
