Easy to prune and manage with high-quality flowers, this productive commercial cultivar from Denmark has a vigorous, bushy habit that is similar to Samdal, but not quite as dense. Samyl is the perfect cross-pollination partner for Samdal but is also a productive standalone variety. Pretty white flowers give way to plump clusters of deep purple fruits perfect for tinctures, jams, and wine-making. Plant height can reach up to 8′. Ripens late summer. 1 Unit = 1 plant. Grows best in Zones 3–7.
