Sweet, flavorful berries born on healthy, compact plants. Ponca incurs minimal injury even when temperatures dip into the single digits. It also produces ample secondary buds that help maintain consistent production even when exposed to less-than-ideal weather conditions. Fruits early-season, with the first harvest starting in June followed by a secondary harvest beginning 12–20 days later. Ponca is a floricane type that fruits on second-year canes.
