Johnny’s 50-Cell Soil Blocker leverages innovative engineering and mechanical advantage to dramatically reduce the manual labor needed to produce tray after tray of neatly compressed soil blocks.How does it work?The high strength cast alloy plungers apply an even and consistent downward force on the 50 cells of soil to produce uniform soil blocks ready for seeding. The couplings between the handles and the plungers multiply the compression force, transferring the workload from the operator to the machine.Place the stainless-steel grid into a 1020 shallow tray. Fill the grid with dampened seed starting mix, slide the loaded grid and tray into the soil blocker assembly, align the cast plungers with the grid cells, and compress with a fraction of the strength needed to compress by hand.
