This "long intermediate" onion forms large bulbs farther south than our other hard storage onions. Robust, upright green tops for improved thrips resistance. Strong bronze skins help push the storage potential to 6 months and beyond under ideal conditions. Calibra is also an excellent choice for the northern tier of the US, producing jumbo to colossal bulbs that store exceptionally well. Adaptation: 35–45° latitude.
