Cabot

Cabot is known for its huge berries, excellent flavor, winter hardiness, and disease resistance. One of the best tasting large berries we have encountered. True to large fruit types, the first fruits may split, be rough, or have hollow centers, but subsequent flushes will be fine. Plants are vigorous but don’t produce as many runners as other varieties, so we recommend spacing closer (10–12") for optimal production. Well-suited for growing on plastic mulch. Cabot is recommended for direct market growers and home gardeners who desire a large flavorful berry. Fruits late spring to early summer. Grows best in Zones 4–7. 1 Unit = 1 plant.
