The darkest jalapeño we offer. Fruits avg. 3 1/2–3 3/4" and exhibit "checking" (small cracks in the skin) that indicates the fruits are ready for harvest. They may be harvested before checking, but the harvest window for this is shorter. The productive, medium-size plants have a high yield potential. The extra-dark green color is a significant advancement in jalapeño breeding.
