MacDonald

Originally developed in Canada in the 1920’s, MacDonald was selected for its outstanding performance. A versatile variety, its vigorous, upright plants produce large, tender red stalks with beautiful heart-shaped leaves. Cold-hardy, heat-tolerant, and root-rot resistant, MacDonald produces early spring through summer and will remain productive for many years if well maintained. Divide annually in spring if plants become crowded. Avg. height: 24–36". Grows best in Zones 4–7. 1 Unit = 1 crown.
