Berseem Clover
$10.00
Description
Berseem clover is a fast-growing, high biomass clover used for annual production. It features a unique upright habit, growing to a height of 18" or more. Planted in the spring, it will grow quickly, producing abundant biomass and fixing 100–125 pounds of nitrogen per acre. When planted in late summer in cool climates (Zone 7 and lower), it will winter-kill, leaving behind winter cover that is easy to incorporate in the spring. Pair with a grass or cereal crop such as annual ryegrass or oats to enhance soil coverage and weed suppression. Pre-inoculated with an OMRI-listed clover inoculant to optimize performance.Specs:Avg. 200,000 seeds/lb
